Göcek, located in the northwestern corner of the Fethiye Bay, has evolved in recent years from a fishing village to a lively city and has become an attraction for sailing enthusiasts from around the world. Göcek with the Fethiye Bay has become one of the most beautiful and varied sailing areas in the Mediterranean. The Fethiye Bay is nestled in a charming green and varied landscape. By the special situation, you can choose for yourself whether your trip will be more comfortable relaxing or sporty sophisticated - or a mix of both.

Within the protected bay, there are different sized islands with beautiful anchorages. Sailors can expect almost every lunch time with a regular, relatively constant wind. When you leave the bay, you are practically in the open sea. Here is the prevailing wind during the summer the "Meltemi". To the east you can sail up to Kalkan, Kas or the Greek island “Castelhorizon”, westward to Ekincik, Marmaris or to Rhodes.

The region is also of great historical interest. In the archaeological sites and monuments, among other things, the ruins of the Romans (pre-byzantine period) can be visited.

Gocek itself is a lively resort with lots of restaurants, cafes, shops and bazaars. In addition, of course all the facilities of a modern holiday region are available.

The international airport of Dalaman is located just 15 min. away. Also, a trip to the coastal town of Fethiye just a few kilometers away is worthwile.
